as the sun did rise
Watching my shadow
as the miles pass by
One step ahead
this shadow of me
feels like life
is taking a back seat.
If I am patient
things will change
the shadow will eventually
be where I am.
When its caught up
my shadow to me
Maybe life will make sense
and I will be at peace
