Patience

Patience.....I have it, sometimes I don't. Today editing, I don't have it. Waiting for things, I hate that. What do they say? Good things come to those who wait? I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for something, anything. I guess sometimes it is just easier not having any expectations of anyone or anything so there is nothing to be impatient about.

Life is just so short and I get so frustrated when something good comes along because I have never been known for patience. When I want something, I fight for it. Guess I just have to fight for things slower now and it is a good life lesson.

Awaken

 

Just Right

All American boy

with big blue eyes

heart of gold

hidden from sight

Strong silent strength

and a soul that burns

with an ache from the past

and lessons he's learned.

Not typically what I would see

in my current every day life

but sometimes what you don't see

is exactly just right.
